Dance in Rock
ROCK -- A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd., on Sunday, Feb. 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided by Ron Jay & the Country Strangers.
There is a door cost and a free-will donation lunch will be available.

Stewardship of animals class offered by Synod
GLADSTONE -- Northern Great Lakes Synod is offering a free class on the stewardship of animals. The class is being offered at First Lutheran Church, Gladstone, Thursdays, Feb. 8, 15 and 22; from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The class will touch on several religions and their beliefs and actions regarding animals from ancient history through the Middle Ages, to the present. DAR to meet
MARQUETTE -- The Onagomingkway Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., EDT, at the Big Boy Restaurant, Marquette. The meal will be a la carte.
