ESCANABA — An adult and young adult faith formation class will take place at Holy Name Grade School every Wednesday evening, from 6 to 7 p.m., beginning Nov. 29.

The class titled, “Spiritual Warfare,” will look at many of life’s toughest struggles and questions using Lectio Divina, a way to look at scripture using prayer and meditation to promote a deeper communion with God and a better understanding of the Bible. Lectio Divina does not treat scripture as simply a text to be studied, but as the living word of God, which provides definitive answers to all life’s questions.

Bibles will be provided and anyone who needs encouragement in their faith journey is welcome. Call Julie at 906-233-9566 and let her know you plan to attend.
