Cancer Alliance raffle drawing Nov. 17
ESCANABA -- The community is invited to attend the 2023 Delta County Cancer Alliance holiday raffle drawing, where one lucky person will win $1,000.
The event will be held Sunday, Nov. 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Escanaba Elks Lodge, 510 Ludington Street. The drawing will be held at 6 p.m. and tickets will be available until 5:55 p.m.
The night will also feature a sloppy joe dinner, available for purchase. Only 150 people, the capacity of the Elks Club, will be allowed to attend.
Event benefits homeless
ESCANABA -- A special event in honor of Homeless Awareness Month will take place at the Bonifas Arts Center on Nov. 17.
The event, which is being held in conjunction with the Menominee – Deltas – Schoolcraft Community Action Agency, will take place between 6 and 8:30 p.m. In addition to a short presentation, the evening will include music by Phil Lunch and Guy Leffel and light refreshments. Donations collected at the door will support the homeless of Delta County.
Breakfast at Eagles
ESCANABA -- The Escanaba Eagles will be serving breakfast at 608 Ludington Street on Sunday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meal is open to the public.
Dinner and bazaar
ESCANABA -- The St. Anthony and St. Thomas Annual Dinner Bazaar will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, serving from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the dinner, guests can enjoy a bake sale, craft sale, silent auction, silver dollar booth, raffles and 50/50.
The cost is $15 for adults, $7 for ages 6-15, and children age 5 and under free are. The event will take place in the St. Thomas parish hall 1820 9th Ave N, Escanaba.
