Gladstone American Legion November meals
GLADSTONE -- American Legion Post 71 of Gladstone will be hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The post also will be hosting a steak feed on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The public is welcome at both meals.
Alternative Giving Bazaar
GLADSTONE -- Memorial United Methodist Church in Gladstone is hosting an "Alternative Giving Bazaar." This is an opportunity to think out of the box for your holiday giving.
All "gifts" purchased at this event will support a local, national or international non-profits. The bazaar will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Coffee and cinnamon rolls and a light lunch will be available for purchase.
Gladstone Library holiday hours
GLADSTONE -- The Gladstone Library has announced its Thanksgiving holiday hours. The hours are as follows:
Wednesday, Nov. 22, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 23, closed
Friday, Nov. 24, closed
Regular hours will resume on Monday, Nov. 27. The regular hours are Monday though Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Venison Feed Dinner
PERKINS -- Perkins Legion and Auxiliary Post 540 will host its annual Venison Feed Dinner at Perkins Lions/Legion Hall 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2. A bucket raffle will also be held.
Delta Coin Club
GLADSTONE -- The next meeting of Delta Coin Club will be Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 5 p.m., at 921 Delta Ave in Gladstone. The public is always invited. Those attending can expect appraisal, auction, talking, and a good time.
