Chili Challenge winners
ESCANABA -- The winners of St. Joseph & St. Patrick Parish's first annual chili challenge on Tuesday, Oct. 24 were: 1st place Mike and Renee Dewar, 2nd place Loretta DeChristopher, and 3rd place Rick Micheau. The winner of the best decorated booth was Richard and Beth Gauthier. The parish would like to thank all who competed and all who came to enjoy all the delicious chili.
Annual Forest Service Retirees' Lunch
RAPID RIVER -- The annual Forest Service Retirees' lunch will be held on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 11:30 a.m. at Jack's Restaurant in Rapid River. In lieu of the White Elephant Exchange, retirees are asked to bring non-perishable food for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. RSVP to Pat at 906-280-2772 if you plan to attend.
