Escanaba Indian Ed Fall Feast set for Nov. 7
ESCANABA -- Escanaba Schools Title VI Indian Ed's Fall Feast will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7, in the Upper Elementary cafeteria from 6 to 8 p.m. for the Indian Ed community and the public. Public forum information will be distributed. Bring a dish to pass if you wish.
There is a handicap accessible entry on the west side of the building, the door closer to Ludington.

UPwild to meet Sunday
RAPID RIVER -- UPwild will gather Sunday at 3 p.m. at 9450 25.75 Lane, in Rapid River. UPwild is a community of people who foster a deeper spiritual connection with God outdoors. Everyone is welcome.
Holiday craft show
HARRIS -- A holiday craft show sponsored by the Bark River – Harris PTO will take place in the Bark River – Harris School gym on Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost to attend is $2 for adults, but children 12 and under are admitted free.
A concession stand manned by the senior class will also be available.

Veterans mobile pantry
ESCANABA -- A mobile Veterans Mobile Pantry will be held Thursday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until food runs out. The free mobile pantry will be at the Ruth Butler building in the fair grounds for all veterans, active or retired. Veterans must have proof of service.
Christmas basket sign up
ESCANABA -- The St. Vincent de Paul 2023 Christmas basket sign up is taking place now through Nov. 17. Applications are available at the SVdP Service Center, located at 115 N 8th Street in Escanaba. Those seeking baskets are asked to fill them out at the Service Center. Service Center hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Christmas baskets are for families with dependent children in need of help this Christmas season. There will be two scheduled pick up times this year, Thursday afternoon on Dec. 14 and Friday morning on Dec. 15. Pick up will be at the Delta County Commerce Center, 1001 North Lincoln Road.
More details will be supplied on the applications.
Dance in Rock
ROCK -- A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd., on Sunday, Nov. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided by Old Friends.
There is a door cost and free-will-donation lunch will be available. For more information, call Lucy at 356-6459.
All proceeds benefit the senior corporation.
