Halloween has become a year-round project for the Olsen family, who are were finishing their third season as pumpkin growers when this photo was published today in 1995. The family venture had grown into a four-acre project, which produced an estimated 15,000 pumpkins. Locally, 1995 had a bumper crop of pumpkins, while other areas of the country had pumpkin crops damaged by the extreme heatwave that hit the country that summer.
