UPwild to meet Sunday
RAPID RIVER — UPwild will gather Sunday at 3 p.m. at 9450 25.75 Lane, in Rapid River. UPwild is a community of people who foster a deeper spiritual connection with God outdoors. Everyone is welcome.
Eagles Red Shirt Night
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles will be holding a “Red Shirt Night” on Nov. 4. The steak dinner will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with music by Grand Design from 7 to 11 p.m. There will also be raffles and a 50/50 drawing.
Tickets will be on sale Oct. 25 through Oct. 31.
St. Thomas breakfast
ESCANABA — St. Thomas Church will hold a breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The public is welcome.
Holiday craft show
HARRIS — A holiday craft show sponsored by the Bark River – Harris PTO will take place in the Bark River – Harris School gym on Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost to attend is $2 for adults, but children 12 and under are admitted free.
A concession stand manned by the senior class will also be available.

Hunters turkey dinner
RAPID RIVER — The Annual Hunters Turkey Dinner will be held at Walter W. Cole Post 301, Rapid River on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. The meal will feature turkey.
A raffle drawing will take place at 7 p.m. Children under four eat free.
Church pasty sale
ESCANABA — St. Thomas Church pasties will be available Nov. 8 and 9 from 3 to 5 p.m. Pasties are made with all brand-name ingredients and are available with or without rutabaga.
Lights for steam engine
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Michigan Soo Line Steam Engine #730 Authority is seeking donations of Christmas Lights and Decorations again this year. This has become a Christmas Tradition since the Steam Engine has been brought back to life.
Lights can be dropped off in Gladstone at 921 Delta Ave or they can be picked up by calling John at 906-241-0888. Thank you for your support.
