Lord's Acre Auction
FAIRBANKS -- The annual Lord's Acre Auction will take place on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Fairbanks Township Hall in Fayette. The bake sale will begin at 11 a.m. and the auction will start at 11:30 a.m.
There will be lots of items up for auction from handmade items, jams and jellies, seasonal decor and much more. All are welcome.
The event is sponsored by the Fayette Congregational Church.
Harvest supper
BARK RIVER -- The Bark River United Methodist Church is hosting a harvest supper on Sunday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. EST. A free-will donation will be accepted for the dinner, which will feature pork loin and Swedish-style meatballs.
The church is located on 3716 D Road, two miles south of the caution light, in Bark River and is handicap accessible.
