The club raises money for the projects by organizing and serving pancakes at the Annual Kiwanis Home & Garden show each spring. Next year's Home & Garden Show is April 12, 13 and 14.

"Kids need Kiwanis, in our community and in communities around the world," said Melissa Bonifas-Ness. "Our club believes in children and wants to provide all kids with an opportunity to thrive, prosper and grow."

The Kiwanis Club of Escanaba, found online at www.escanabakiwanis.org, welcomes new members who want to serve their community. Information about becoming a member is available on their website or by joining the weekly meeting at Immanuel Lutheran Church on most Mondays at noon.
