Keith Joseph Allen

GLADSTONE — Keith Joseph Allen, age 63, of Gladstone, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on January 2, 1960, in Miami, Fla., the son of George and Joanne (Good) Lennon. Keith was raised in Miami and was a graduate of Miami Southridge Senior High School. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy for five years until he was honorably discharged. Keith later studied Building Construction Technology at Lake Superior State University and received his Associate of Science Degree in 1990. He spent most of his working career installing internet and satellite television throughout the Upper Peninsula. Keith married the former Laurel Revis on January 8, 2000 in Gladstone, sharing 23 years of marriage. Keith enjoyed listening to music, building and fixing things – often teaching others all of the things he could do, he loved his family – especially his grandchildren, playing with his dogs, and was a great storyteller.

Keith is survived by his wife, Laurel Allen of Gladstone; children, Casey Allen of Appleton, Wis., Allison (Jake) Isaacson of Gladstone, and Joshua (Sarah) Gaffney of Escanaba; six grandchildren; brother, Tom Allen of Gladstone; nieces and nephews, Kelly Stewart, Jennifer Allen, Christopher Allen, Lindsay Allen, and Bradley Allen; and good friend, Randy “Camel” Hamilton.

In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his brothers, Greg and Bryan Allen; and sister, Kathy Allen.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Gladstone. Military Honors will be conducted at 12 p.m., Saturday, in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Gladstone American Legion Post 71.
