AAUW elects new leadership at celebration

HARRIS -- The American Association of University Women (AAUW)-Escanaba Area Affiliate elected new officers at their 50th anniversary celebration and meeting on May 20, at the Horizon Restaurant at the Island Resort and Casino.

AAUW, founded in 1881, is open to women and men holding an associate's or equivalent (e.g., RN), bachelor's or higher degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution.
AAUW is a non-partisan organization that advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research.
