AAUW recognizes member Molly Campbell

Editor’s note: In preparation for the Escanaba Area Branch of the Association of University Women (AAUW) 50th anniversary event on May 20, the group will be featuring local members over the next few weeks. Today’s featured members is Ann Wood.
ESCANABA — Bay College faculty member Molly Campbell serves as the college/university representative for the Escanaba Area Branch of AAUW. Through this partnership, Bay College has hosted the AAUW Start Smart Salary Negotiation Workshops with Campbell serving as lead facilitator. Start Smart workshops educate college students on pay equity issues and provide them with practical skills they can use to negotiate competitive wages at the start of their careers.
Campbell holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science with concentrations in public administration and environmental politics from Colorado State University. She also holds a graduate certificate in women’s studies from Western Kentucky University, and completed graduate work in anthropology through the University of North Texas.
Campbell received the Bay College Distinguished Faculty Award in 2000 and the Michigan Education Association Outstanding Person in Education Award in 2008. She was honored as the Member of the Year by the Escanaba Area Branch of the American Association of University Women in 2019. Campbell also received the Outstanding Educator Award at Bay College in 2023.
