Grief seminars, support group meetings
ESCANABA -- If you are suffering from grief and looking for help, the Delta County Victim Services Unit will be hosting a grief educational series at Bay College. The events are free to the public.

Nominations of officers
ESCANABA -- Eagles Aerie #1088 will hold nominations for officers on Tuesday, April 18, at the 8 p.m. meeting. Eagles Auxiliary #1088 will hold nominations for officers on Wednesday, April 19 at the 7 p.m. meeting.
Those unable to attend may send a letter of intent to have name nominated for an office. Letters must be filed before the start of meeting.
Story hour planned
GLADSTONE -- The Gladstone Public Library will hold a spring story hour on Saturday, April 29, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children ages 2 to 10 years old are invited.
Children will enjoy stories, create a special spring craft, eat snacks and sing songs. No registration is necessary. For more information call 428-4224.
Rapid Readers to meet
RAPID RIVER -- The Rapid Readers book club will meet Wednesday, April 19 and discuss "The Hour of the Witch" by Chris Bohjalian. Discussion begins at 10 a.m. at Jack's Restaurant in Rapid River.
Members are asked to bring suggestions for the May book selection.
