Spring Social and Fundraiser

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Lions Club will hold their annual Spring Social and Fundraiser on Saturday, April 22. The Bay de Noc Lions have joined the Gladstone Lions in helping with this fundraiser. The event will be held at the Bluff Country Club with music provided by the Jam Band.

Tickets will be available at the door, and doors open at 7 p.m. Advance tickets can be purchased at all Baybank locations, all Northern Insurance locations, and Upper Peninsula State Bank in Gladstone.

There will be raffles during the event. The fundraiser is sponsored in part by Baybank. Jam Band will begin performing at 8 p.m.

The event will benefit both the Escanaba Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Gladstone Volunteer Fire Department.

Easter egg hunt

GLADSTONE — A community Easter egg hunt will be held at First Lutheran Church, located at 1212 Minneapolis Ave. in Gladstone, on April 8. The event will start at 1 p.m.

St. Anthony’s Church pasty sale April 13-14

ESCANABA — St. Anthony’s Chuch will be having a pasty sale on April 13 and 14. Pick up will be at St. Thomas Church in Escanaba.

Escanaba Elks Auxilary

ESCANABA — Due to the Escanaba Elks Club’s current closure, there will not be a Lady Elks Auxiliary Meeting on Thursday, April 6.

Members are hopeful meetings can resume in May.
