U.P. Tri-County MEA Retired Group to meet
ESCANABA — U.P. Tri-County MEA Retired Group will hold a meeting on Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. Eastern time in Room 525 (adjacent to Bay Cafe) at Bay College. Please park in parking lot C and enter the door designated for the bookstore.
Any interested retired or current MEA members may attend.
Legion Post 115 Christmas party
ESCANABA TOWNSHIP — Escanaba River Post 115 will have its Christmas party on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
Cocktails will be served at 5 p.m., with dinner to follow at 6 p.m. at the Escanaba Township Hall. All Legion and axillary members and their spouses/guest are welcome.
Indian Ed family meeting
ESCANABA — Escanaba’s Title VI Program (Indian Education) will be hosting a family committee meeting on Monday, Dec. 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the library at the Escanaba Upper Elementary. The meeting is open to anyone interested. Call Mikiah Tryan at 906-786-7462, Ext. 2216, for any questions.
Annual dinner bazaar
ESCANABA — St. Anthony and St. Thomas will be hosting a dinner bazzar on Dec. 4. The annual event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Thomas hall, 1820 9th Avenue North in Escanaba, will include dinner, a bake sale, silent auction, craft sale and raffles. Take out meals will be available.
Taco Tuesday
GLADSTONE — Taco Tuesday is back at the American Legion in Gladstone. Tacos will be served every Tuesday from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m.
