Annual dinner bazaar

ESCANABA — St. Anthony and St. Thomas will be hosting a dinner bazzar on Dec. 4.

The annual event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Thomas hall, 1820 9th Avenue North in Escanaba, will include dinner, a bake sale, silent auction, craft sale and raffles.

Take out meals will be available.

Eagles breakfast this Sunday Nov. 20

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles will host breakfast this Sunday, Nov. 20, and every third Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The breakfasts take place at 608 Ludington St.

There is a cost for the breakfast, and take-out meals are available.

Faith formation class

ESCANABA — An adult faith formation class, “Eucharist — Real Presence or Merely Symbolic” will begin Nov. 30 in the Holy Name Commons Area.

The class will take place each Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. Anyone interested in attending is welcome to come as they are able.

Meat pie sale

ESCANABA — St. Anthony’s Church will be having a meat pie sale Dec. 8 and 9. The pies are half ground chuck and half pork.

To preorder, call or text Debbie at 906-399-4259. Pies will be available for pick up between 2 and 5 p.m. at the church.

All-you-can-eat breakfast

GLADSTONE — The American Legion Post 71 of Gladstone will be hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast on third Sunday each month. Food will be served from 9 a.m. to noon.

AAUW Christmas ­luncheon set for Dec. 3

ESCANABA — The American Association of University Women (AAUW) will hold a Christmas luncheon at Hereford and Hops on Dec. 3 starting at 11:30 a.m.

Members and guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy appropriate for children up to 18 years of age. Gift cards would also be appreciated.

AAUW is open to men and women holding an associate’s degree or higher. Founded in 1881, the organization is recognized for its advancement of equality for women and girls through advocacy, education and research.
