Delta County MARSP to meet for December

HARRIS — The Delta County Chapter of MARSP will meet Dec. 6, at noon, at the Island Resort and Casino.

Dinner will be available and the Escanaba high school choir will provide entertainment. There will also be a canned goods drive to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Gladstone.

Wells Lions Club raffle winner named

WELLS — The winner of the Wells Lions Club 52 week raffle for the week of Nov. 14 is Terry Johnson, of Farmington, Minn., who won $100. This was week 16 of the raffle.

Grace hosts community Thanksgiving dinner

GLADSTONE — Grace Church in Gladstone will be serving a community thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 24.

The dinner will be available between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 528 28th St. in Gladstone. It will be held in the multi-purpose room. There will be no deliveries or carryouts. Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome. A sign-up sheet will be at the church Welcome Center, as well.

Gladstone library hours

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library has announced its holiday hours. On Wednesday, Nov. 23, the library will be open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. It will be closed Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 24 through 27.

Regular hours will resume Monday, Nov. 28.
