Wells Lions Club raffle winners named
WELLS — The winners of the Wells Lions Club 52 week raffles for the weeks of Oct. 31 and Nov. 7 have been announced. For Oct. 31, which was week 14 of the raffle, the winner was Mark Hager of Gladstone. For Nov. 7, which was week 15, Kyle Eastman of Escanaba was the winner.
Both Hager and Eastman won $100.
Gladstone Library holiday hours set
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library has announced its holiday hours. On Wednesday, Nov. 23, the library will be open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. It will be closed Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 24 through 27.
Regular hours will resume Monday, Nov. 28.
Scholarship fundraiser
BAGLEY — The West Bagley Homemakers are announcing their Trade School Scholarship Fundraiser, which will benefit students from the Stephenson and Carney-Nadeau high school classes of 2023.
The event will take place Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Stephenson. The event will feature bingo, bucket raffles, and 50/50 drawings. A light lunch will also be served.
Free hunter’s dinner
ROCK — A free hunter’s dinner will be held at the Rock Bible Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 6:30 p.m. To get to the church, turn east at the light and travel 1/2 mile.
The event will feature food, door prizes and guest speaker Kenny Hurlbut, who hails from Minnesota.
Taco Tuesday returns
GLADSTONE — Taco Tuesday is back at the American Legion in Gladstone. Tacos will be served every Tuesday from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m.
