Taco Tuesday returns

GLADSTONE — Taco Tuesday is back at the American Legion in Gladstone. Tacos will be served every Tuesday from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m.

Dance in Rock

ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd., on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Music will be provided by Old Friends.

There is a cost at the door. A free-will donation lunch will also be available.

Christmas bazaar

TRENARY — The Trenary United Methodist Church will host a Christmas bazaar on Nov. 19 at the church from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

There will be homemade items, a bake sale and Rada utensils available. A soup lunch will be served.

‘Sister Act The Musical’ coming to EHS

ESCANABA — The Escanaba High School Fine Arts Department will present “Sister Act The Musical,” with evening performances on Nov. 18, 19, 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. A Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. on Nov. 20 is also scheduled.

Doors open one hour before showtime. Tickets will be sold in the high school main office from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at the ticket booth near the auditorium during play practice. Practice times vary. Only cash and checks will be accepted.

Church bake sale

GLADSTONE — The women’s group of the Covenant Church in Gladstone will hold a community bake sale Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The sale will offer homemade breads, pies, and assorted baked goods.

The church is located at the corner of 9th Street and Michigan Avenue in Gladstone.
