‘Nun Run’ shows Catholic women life of Sisters

ESCANABA -- Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, Carmelite Nuns of the Holy Cross Monastery, of Iron Mountain, and Saint Paul De Chartres Sisters, of Escanaba, are offering a weekend of visiting their homes and sharing their lives during the "Nun Run" road trip.
Single Catholic women, age 20-35, are invited to sojourn and see firsthand the daily lives and charisms of active and contemplative women's congregations serving the Diocese of Marquette
Begining Friday afternoon, Nov. 4, in Iron Mountain, the event then moves to by Manitowoc, Wis. and concludes Sunday afternoon, Nov. 6, in Escanaba. Sister Jacqueline Spaniola, campus minister at St. Albert the Great, in Houghton, and Sister Julie Ann Sheahan will facilitate the road trip.
