MSP Trooper Lott and Trooper Schlicht, with their K9s, demonstrated how the K9s assist the police in different situations. Officer Mallory Nelsen, of Gladstone Public Safety; DNR Officer Stephen Butzin; Officer Brittany Levesque, from Escanaba Public Safety; Acting Delta County Prosecutor Lauren Wickman; and Victim Advocate Erin Wery were also there to with talk with the girls and answer their questions. The Girls Scouts also harvested winter squash that will be donated to local food pantries. The Girl Scouts then enjoyed a hayride to pick out a pumpkin and made apple cider.
