All-you-can-eat breakfast

GLADSTONE — American Legion Post 71 of Gladstone will be hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast Sunday, Oct. 16.

Food will be served from 9 a.m. to noon.

Rapid Readers meet

RAPID RIVER — The Rapid Readers will meet Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. at Jack’s in Rapid River. October’s book is “The First Frost” by Sarah A. Allen.

Eagles breakfast

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles 1088 will serve its Sunday breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Eagles Hall, located at 608 Ludington St., Escanaba.

There is a fee to attend the breakfast. The public is welcome.
