Breakfast at Escanaba Eagles this Sunday

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles 1088 will serve its Sunday breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Eagles Hall, located at 608 Ludington St., Escanaba.

There is a fee to attend the breakfast. The public is welcome.

Halloween Story Hour

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library will be holding a “Spookadelic Halloween!” Story Hour on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

All children ages 2 to 10 years old are welcome to join in the “spine-tingling” festivities. Children are invited to come dressed in costume.

Those in attendance will have a chance to win a free prize. Activities will include spooky tales, music, crafts and a special treat.

Harvest Supper

BARK RIVER — Bark River United Methodist Church will be hosting a Harvest Supper event on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. EST. Guests of the dinner are asked to contribute with a free-will donation.

The church is located 3716 D Road in Bark River, two miles south of caution light on US 2 & 41.

St. Anthony’s pasty sale

ESCANABA — St. Anthony’s last pasty sale until April of 2023 will be held Oct. 13 and 14.

To pre-order, call or text Debbie at 906-399-4259. Pasties can be picked up at St. Thomas Church in Escanaba from 2 to 5 p.m. while supplies last. Pasties will also be delivered to Escanaba businesses at no additional charge.

All-you-can-eat breakfast

GLADSTONE — American Legion Post 71 of Gladstone will be hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast Sunday, Oct. 16. Food will be served from 9 a.m. to noon.

Starting at $3.50/week.
