Lord’s Acre Auction returns after pandemic hiatus
Courtesy photo After missing two years because of the pandemic, the Annual Lord’s Acre Auction will make its 75th return Saturday, Oct. 8. at the Fairbanks Township Hall in Fayette. Those planning to attend are advise to look for signs. The bake sale will start at 11 a.m. and the auction will begin at 11:30 a.m. Items will include handmade woodwork, quilts, wall hangings, jams and jellies, as well as other items. All are welcome at the auction and bake sale, which are sponsored by the Fayette Congregational Church. Proceeds go to the church’s annual operational expenses.
