Legion meeting
WATSON -- The Escanaba River American Legion and Auxiliary will meet Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Watson Town Hall.
DAR meeting Sept. 10
MUNISING -- The Onagomingkway Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, Wesley Hall, 312 Lynn St., Munising from noon to 3 p.m., Eastern.
The meeting is a potluck, so members are asked to bring a dish to pass. Beverage and dessert will be provided.

MARSP to meet
CARBONDALE -- The Menominee County Chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel (MARSP), will meet on Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Little Nugget Clubhouse on East County Rd. 338 in Carbondale. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m., Central time, and lunch will be served at noon.
Lunch will be available for a fee.
The program for the day will be presented by Cheryl Goc from UPCAP, who will speak about services available for the elderly. A business meeting will follow the program.
Members are encouraged to bring a paper product or cleaning product to donate to the homeless shelter.
