Gladstone library setting new hours after holiday
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone School and Public Library will be closed Monday, Sept. 5, for the Labor Day holiday.
New fall hours begin Tuesday, Sept. 6. The hours for public curbside pickup and in-house use are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

MEA-Retired to meet
ESCANABA — The Tri-County MEA-Retired chapter will be holding their first meeting of the year on Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. (EST) in Room 525 (located by Bay Cafe) at Bay College in Escanaba. Yearly dues will be collected at that meeting.

ESCANABA — Kicking off Labor Day weekend, AMVETS Post 123 in Escanaba will host the band Ghost Riders on Friday, Sept. 2, beginning at 7 p.m.
‘Fill the Gazebo’
ROCK — The Rock Faith Food Pantry is having a ‘Fill the Gazebo’ food drive. All non-perishable food items will gladly be accepted from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3.
