Dance in Rock Sunday

ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Road, on Sunday, Aug. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. Music will be provided by The Two Of Us.

There is a cost at the door and a free will donation lunch will be available.

Free COVID-19 tests at Gladstone Public Library

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library has partnered with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to hand out free at home COVID-19 self-testing kits. Stop by the library and ask for a test kit, or call 428-4224 ext. 2 for curbside pickup.

Residents may pick up one testing kit per household member daily, up to five kits a day. A library card is not required.

Free clothes closet at Memorial UMC

GLADSTONE — The Memorial United Methodist Church Clothes Closet is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The closet offers free clothes, coats and shoes for children, adults and in all sizes.

The church and clothes closet are located at 1920 Lake Shore Dr., Gladstone (near McDonald’s). Call 906-428-9311 for more information or to set up an appointment to visit the closet outside of regular hours.
