Walk 4 Life tomorrow
ESCANABA — Pregnancy Services of Delta County, a pro-life organization that aims “to provide life affirming emotional, spiritual, and physical support for individuals vulnerable to abortion,” is preparing for its eighth annual Walk 4 Life. The event, which is the organization’s second largest fundraiser, will take place Saturday, June 4, and start at the Ludington Park Pavillion.
The fundraising goal of the walk is $35,000, and walkers will follow a new route around Aronson Island and back.

Flat Rock man to be ordained as priest today
MARQUETTE — Two deacons from the Upper Peninsula will be ordained as priests today at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette.
Deacon Christian Flagstadt’s home parish is Holy Family, in Flat Rock (Gladstone), and Deacon Brandon Yanni’s home parish is Holy Name of Mary, Sault Ste. Marie.
The Mass will be live streamed on YouTube at www.youtube.com/theupcatholic and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/theupcatholic at 3:30 p.m. The livestreamed video will be available for later watching on the YouTube channel.

GLADSTONE — The Free Clothes Closet located at Memorial United Methodist Church — 1920 Lake Shore Dr., Gladstone — is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 9 a.m. to noon.
