Mennonite church hosts vacation Bible school

MANISTIQUE — Cedar Grove Mennonite Church will be hosting a three-day vacation Bible school, June 7- 9 for children and youth, 4 years old through 8th grade. The theme this year is “Peace Within, with Others and in the World” and will be held each day from 1:30 to 3:40 p.m.

Most of the program activities will be held outdoors in a large tent, so participants should bring jackets if the weather is cool. Activities will include music, crafts, Bible discussion, and science demonstrations.

The final day’s projects will include the packing of school kits and hygiene kits that will be sent to assist children in the Ukraine.
