Gladstone Public Library spring break hours

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone School and Public Library spring break hours are as follows:

Monday, March 28, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Tuesday, March 29, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Wednesday, March 30, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Thursday, March 31, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Friday, April 1, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Regular hours will resume Monday, April 4.

NSDAR to meet April 9

CALUMET — The Onagomingkway Chapter of NSDAR will hold its monthly meeting Saturday, April 9, from noon until 3 p.m. EDT at The Hut Restaurant, 58540 Wolverine St. #41 in Calumet. The meal will be a la carte.

If you have questions about genealogy and joining DAR, members will be happy to answer them after the meeting. Call Melissa at 906-226-7836 with questions.

Foster care open house

ESCANABA — Foster home licensing workers will hold an informational open house at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services office, 305 Ludington St., Escanaba, on Tuesday, April 19. The open house will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and is for anyone who is interested in learning more about providing foster care for children locally.

Easter egg hunt planned

GLADSTONE — First Lutheran Church, located at 1212 Minneapolis Ave. in Gladstone, is hosting a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 16.

Elks Auxiliary meeting

ESCANABA — The Elks Auxiliary will hold their April meeting on Thursday, April 7. Social hour will be held at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:45 p.m. The meeting will follow. Members are encouraged to bring a guest.
