Wells Lions Club raffle winner named
WELLS — The winner of the Wells Lions Club 52 week raffle for the week of March 14 is Troy Sebeck, of Escanaba, who won $100.
This was week 33 of the raffle.
NSDAR to meet
CALUMET — The Onagomingkway Chapter of NSDAR will hold its monthly meeting Saturday, April 9, from noon until 3 p.m. EDT at The Hut Restaurant, 58540 Wolverine St. #41 in Calumet. The meal will be a la carte.

RAPID RIVER — The Order of the Axe will hold its spring meeting April 24 at 5 p.m. at Jack’s Restaurant in Rapid River.
Indian ed meeting tonight in Gladstone
GLADSTONE — A Title VI Indian Education Parent Committee meeting will take place Wednesday, March 16 at 4 p.m. at the Gladstone Junior High School. The meeting, which will be an open public forum, will be held in the lobby off the gym.
Memorial UMC speakers
GLADSTONE — Memorial United Methodist Church, located at 1920 Lake Shore Drive Gladstone, is hosting a Lenten speaker series.
Every Wednesday during lent a light soup supper is held at 5:30 p.m. and a speaker of community interest presents from 6 to 7 p.m. The speaker for March 16 is Samantha Frizzell of Delta County Families Against Narcotics.
