Post 71 meeting

GLADSTONE — Gladstone American Legion Post 71 will hold a combined meeting Monday, March 7, at 7 p.m. All members are welcome.

Free Store open today

ESCANABA — The Bethany Lutheran Church Free Store will be open today from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The role of the Free Store is to aid lower income households by supplying items that cannot be purchased with a Michigan Bridge Card. Items include paper products, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene products.

Bethany Lutheran Church, ELCA, is located at 202 South 11th St. in Escanaba, and the Free Store can be accessed through the circle drive entrance. Registration is required.

Esky Indian Ed Parent Committee to meet

ESCANABA — Title VI Escanaba Schools Indian Education Parent Committee meeting will be held Monday, March 7, at 5:15 p.m. at the Upper Elementary teacher lounge.

The meeting is open to anyone who is interested, but those planning to attend are asked to contact Janine at 786-7462 ext. 2216.

Legion Post 115 meets Wednesday in Flat Rock

ESCANABA TOWNSHIP — The American Legion Escanaba River Post 115 and auxiliary will meet Wednesday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Escanaba Township Hall in Flat Rock.

Dance in Rock

ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Road, on Sunday, March 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Music will be provided by Old Friends.
