Escanaba resident on SVSU’s Deans’ List

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. — Almost 2,000 students from Saginaw Valley State University earned a spot on the Fall 2021 semester Deans’ List.

Morgan Barnhart, of Escanaba, was among those honored for academic excellence.

To be eligible for the Deans’ List, a student must take at least 12 credit hours and carry a semester GPA of 3.4 or better.

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. — Sydney Herioux of Gladstone is one of more than 600 students from Saginaw Valley State University whose determination and commitment to academic excellence earned them a spot on the fall 2021 semester President’s List.

To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 4.0 grade point average.

WELLS — The winner of Wells Lions raffle for week 29 dated Feb. 14-22 is Keia Brunette of Escanaba. She won $100.

Lynch to perform

concert at Bay College

ESCANABA — Phil Lynch and special guests, Katie and Eli Bender, will perform at Bay College on Thursday, February 24, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. in the Besse Center on main campus in Escanaba. Tickets are on sale now at www.baycollege.tix.com. Bay students and employees can purchase tickets at the Box Office in the Besse Center (please bring your Bay ID).
