Dean’s list at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE — The following students were named to Wisconsin Lutheran College’s Dean’s List for the fall 2021 semester. To be eligible for Dean’s List, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher.

Liana Blahnik, of Bark River, a freshman at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Blahnik is a graduate of Carney-Nadeau Public High School.

Kaylee Cadeau, of Escanaba, a freshman at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Rapid River Relic Riders meet in January

RAPID RIVER — Rapid River Relic Riders meeting will be on Wednesdays in January until the end of the month to discuss plans for the 16th annual antique and vintage snowmobile show and swap meet. Library has video streaming services

ESCANABA — Kanopy, an on-demand streaming video service for public libraries and universities, is now available to patrons of the Escanaba Public Library. Kanopy provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies and documentaries. Kanopy Kids is a curated collection of TV series, language learning videos, and classic movies, all with unlimited plays.

To set up a Kanopy account, patrons can visit the library website at www.escanabalibrary.org and click on the “Video Streaming” icon. They will be prompted enter their library card barcode, PIN, name, and email. Once created, the account allows patrons to access over 30,000 films.
