Douglas on dean’s list at St. Scholastica
DULUTH, Minn. — Derek Douglas, of Escanaba was named to the Fall 2021 Dean’s List at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn. Derek is a sophomore majoring in Biology.
Dean’s List members have achieved a 3.75 grade point average or above on a 4.0 scale. The College of St. Scholastica would like to commend Derek for honorable academic achievements. Great job, Derek!
St. Scholastica is a 109-year-old private, independent college founded in the Catholic Benedictine tradition.
UW-Stevens Point undergraduates honored
STEVENS POINT, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,350 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. Students local who received honors include: Taylor McFarlane, of Gladstone, Senior, Honors and from Wells, Morgan Dahn, Senior, High Honors.
Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.
Personalized certificates of scholastic achievement are sent to those who earned highest honors distinction.
Wells Lions 52 week raffle 2021-2022
WELLS — The winners of week 24 of the Wells Lions 52 week raffle dated Jan. 10 are Mary Derkos of Escanaba and Gary Lewis of Escanaba. Both are $250 winners.
