Picture your Pet with Santa is Saturday

ESCANABA — Santa is coming to the Delta Animal Shelter. Picture your Pet with Santa will be Saturday, December 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday, December 15 from 5 to 8 p.m.. The cost is a $10 donation. No appointment is needed.

NSDAR schedules monthly meeting

MARQUETTE — The Onagomingkway Chapter, NSDAR, will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from noon until three p.m. at the Big Boy Restaurant, 1950 US Highway 41 W, Marquette (pie/dessert social a la carte). Tree lighting and visit from Santa in Rock

ROCK — Santa will be lighting the Senior Center/Township Hall tree in Rock on Friday, Dec.10 at 7 p.m. Join Santa as he lights the tree, sings a few carols and then adjourns inside for hot chocolate, treats and lots of good conversations with good little girls and boys. Music will be provided by Bill Van Effen and Dan Sirtola. Call 356-6420 for more information.

Library sets virtual Christmas story time

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone School and Public Library will host a Christmas Virtual Story Time and basket giveaway.

An online Story Time will be held on Saturday, December 18, starting at 10:30 a.m. by accessing our Library Facebook page or the Gladstone school website.

Parents can also come into the library and sign up children ages 2 to 10 years old for a chance to win a basket filled with Christmas fun and pick up a Christmas goodie bag. The entry forms for the giveaway are available at the library between November 29 – December 15. Winners will be called on December 16.
