Stamp and Coin Club meeting canceled

ESCANABA — The December 13 meeting of the Bay de Noc Stamp and Coin Club is cancelled. When the club is able to meet at Bay College it will be the newspaper, but until then the meetings have been cancelled.

Onagomingkway NSDAR

MARQUETTE — The Onagomingkway Chapter, NSDAR, will hold its DAR Christmas Tea on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 529 Harrison St. in Marquette from noon to 3 p.m. Eastern Time Zone or on Zoom due to COVID-19 — check ahead for confirmation. St. Anthony-St. Thomas Christmas dinner set

ESCANABA — St. Anthony and St. Thomas parishes will host their annual Christmas dinner and bazaar from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 at the St. Thomas Parish Hall, 1820 9th Ave. N., in Escanaba. There is a fee for the dinner, but kids five and under eat free. Curbside pickup is available from 1 to 2 p.m. by reservation.

Pickup reservations should be called in to Sharon at 786-6380, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., by Dec. 1. Regular takeout orders will also be available.

The bazaar will offer a raffle of themed gift baskets, a silent auction, 50/50 raffles and silver dollar, craft and bake sale booths.

Dinner will feature ham, pigs in a blanket, meatballs, sides, beverages and pie for $12 for adults, $6 for youth 6-15 and free for 5 and under.
