St. Anthony’s pasty sale

ESCANABA — St. Anthony’s Church is having a pasty sale on Oct 14 and 15. Pasties can be picked up from 2 to 5 p.m. at St. Thomas in Escanaba.

Rapid Readers to meet

RAPID RIVER — “Once There Were Wolves,” by Charlotte McConaghy, is the novel chosen for discussion for the Rapid Readers Oct. 20 meeting at Jack’s Restaurant at 10 a.m. in Rapid River. Judy Pomeroy will be the moderator.
