Veterans’ picnic on Sept. 11 in Escanaba

ESCANABA — Area veterans are invited to attend a picnic lunch on Friday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in honor and remembrance of those who died and those who saved throughout the tragedies of 9-11. The event will be held rain or shine at Ludington Park and will also honor and remember those who are serving our country and those who have served.

Lord’s Acre Auction returns this October

FAIRBANKS TOWNSHIP — The Lord’s Acre Auction, which was canceled last year, will return this fall. The event will take place Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Fairbanks Township Hall in Fayette.

The event will feature handmade items and baked goods. All are welcome.
