Lakeview Cemetery Association to meet

ESCANABA — The Lakeview Cemetery Association will be holding its annual Lot Owner meeting on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021 at 4 p.m. in the cemetery chapel located at 2110 3rd Avenue South (across the street from Holy Name).

A Lot Owner meeting serves as an annual business meeting of the association. Due to last year’s COVID-19 shut down, this is the first annual meeting since 2019. A financial report for the previous year will be presented, and an election of three board members will be held. Anyone with burial rights at the cemetery is a voting member of the association and all are encouraged to attend and make their wishes known to the board.

The cemetery has at least 3,000 burial spaces left and is an active business in the community.
