Gladstone Library to close for maintenance

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone School and Public Library will be closed Thursday, Aug. 19 for cleaning and maintenance work. Summer hours will resume Monday, Aug. 23.

Esky Class of 1965 reunion set for Aug. 28

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Class of 1965 will be holding a 56th reunion on Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Eagles Club, located at 608 Ludington St., from 6 to 11 p.m.

The informal gathering will include a cash bar. Classmates and their spouses/friends are welcome.

Classmates are asked to RSVP their attendance by responding on the class’ Facebook page, “Escanaba Class of 1965,” contacting Sandy (Manninen) McCluskey via email at bargainqueen320@charter.net or calling or texting 906-789-3115.

The COVID-19 situation will be monitored and plans will be adjusted as needed. Updates will be sent out via email or the class’ Facebook page.
