Vintage Day Sunday at IXL Historical Museum

HERMANSVILLE — The IXL Historical Museum in Hermansville will be holding Vintage Day from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. CDT on Aug. 15.

The event will feature a display from Jodi Perras titled “Leaves of Menominee.” Live music will be provided by Joe Whitens, Steve Framarin, and Wayne Malone. Blacksmiting demonstrations will also be held, featuring Rob Hornik.

Copies of old local yearbooks, clothing, books, pins, DVDs and other items will be available for sale in the office building during the event. Pasties and homemade baked goods will be available on the grounds as well.

Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs.

The museum is located at W5561 River Street in Hermansville.

Isabella Farmers Market

ISABELLA — The farmers market at the Isabella Community Hall is opened each Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. New vendors are always welcome.

Wells Lions Club raffle winner named

WELLS — The winner of the Wells Lions Club 52-week raffle for the week of Aug. 9 is Henry Thorbahn of Wells, who won $100. This was week two of the raffle.

Eagles breakfast Sunday

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles Club, located at 608 Ludington St., will serve breakfast Sunday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
