AAUW rummage sale

ESCANABA — The annual American Association of University Women (AAUW) rummage sale will be held Friday, July 23 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Saturday, July 24, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 1037 South 30th Street in Escanaba. Featured items include holiday decorations, yard items, household items, kitchenware, books, sewing machines and jewelry.

Proceeds from the event help fund two AAUW scholarships at Bay College.

Esky Class of ’70 ­planning committee

ESCANABA — The next planning meeting for the Escanaba Class of 1970 reunion committee will be Monday, Aug. 2 at 11 a.m. at Drifters in Escanaba. Plans will be finalized for the 51st class reunion, set to be held Friday, Sept. 17 and Saturday, Sept. 18.
