Bay de Noc Lions Club seeks new members

ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Lions Club celebrated its first anniversary in April and is waiving registration fees until the end of June. The club welcomes everyone who can provide some time to volunteer and help others.

The group supports Maggie’s Wigs for Kids, the fight against childhood cancer, Project Kidsight, hearing aid assistance, diabetes awareness, and more.

Gladstone High School Class of 1951 to meet

GLADSTONE — Gladstone High School Class of 1951 will celebrate its 70th class reunion Friday, July 2, starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Stonington home of Alex and Iola (Haglund) Engel. A casual gathering is planned with a potluck and the opportunity to renew old friendships.
