Memorial Day ceremony

GLADSTONE — American Legion Post 71 of Gladstone will be presenting Memorial Day Ceremonies at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day.

Croatian chicken dinner

GLADSTONE — A Croatian chicken dinner, sponsored by the Sons of the American Legion, will be held at the American Legion in Gladstone on Sunday, May 23. Serving will be from 3 to 6 p.m.

Only 100 chickens will be sold. Please call orders ahead by calling 906-428-1050. Dine-in eating will be available, but orders must be placed ahead.

Holy Name Class of 1966 reunion ­canceled

ESCANABA — Holy Name Class of 1966 will be having a reunion on Sept. 11 at the Elks. Cards about the event will be mailed out soon.
