Color Your Faith 5k set

ESCANABA — The “Color Your Faith 5k Run/Walk” will take place at Bethany Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 22. Packet pick-up will begin at 8 a.m., and the race will start at 9 a.m.

All participants will receive a race t-shirt and color packet, and the race will feature a number of “Color Stations” where volunteers will spray racers with colorful powdered dye.

Croatian chicken dinner

GLADSTONE — A Croatian chicken dinner, sponsored by the Sons of the American Legion, will be held at the American Legion in Gladstone on Sunday, May 23. Serving will be from 3 to 6 p.m.

Only 100 chickens will be sold. Please call orders ahead by calling 906-428-1050. Dine-in eating will be available, but orders must be placed ahead.
