Holy Name Class of 1966 meeting planned

ESCANABA — The Holy Name Class of 1966 will be having a reunion meeting Monday, May 3 at 4:30 p.m. at the Escanaba Country Club. Anyone interested is invited. For any questions, call or text Patti at 906-280-1484.

Loans available for Gladstone students

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Scholarship and Student Loan Foundation will be awarding interest-free $2,000 loans to Gladstone High School graduates pursuing further education for the 2021-22 academic year.

Alumni may receive up to four annual loans during their lifetimes. Applications will be available beginning May 1 in the high school office. The deadline for submission is June 11 and both parent and student signatures are required on the forms.

Gladstone Legion ­meetings set

GLADSTONE — A combined meeting will take place at Gladstone American Legion Post 71 Monday, May 3 at 7 p.m.

The auxiliary will also have a meeting Thursday, May 13 at 6 p.m.
