In this vintage photo from 1966, Mick, Lynn and Deb Lancour take a break in front of the family’s north Escanaba home. Their parents, Bill and Liz Lancour, were well known in the community as owners of Spar’s Bar for 17 years. The couple purchased the bar/restaurant from Earl and Helen Nelson, but the Sheridan Road establishment received its name from Mike and Lorraine Sparapani.
