August Mattson Squadron honors longtime members

GLADSTONE — Two Members of the Gladstone August Mattson Squad #71 of the Son’s of the American Legion were recently honored for 40 years of continuous membership. Robert Druding and Jack Deneau were presented with a 40 Year Membership pin and Honorary Certificate.
Reaching this milestone is a very special occasion. It is also a very special occasion for the squadron, since it is a testimony of their loyalty to the Son’s of The American Legion over the years. Both are valued members of the squadron and their continued contribution is vital for the Son’s to continue to be successful in helping our fellow Legionnaires and veterans.
The Sons of The American Legion was founded for preserving The American Legion traditions and programs, while improving the quality of life for our nation’s children, caring for veterans and their families and teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.
